yeah i like a bunch! i got into infinity train in the past year and im broken... i also got into wallace and gromit, hilda, and carmen sandiego in recent years. but tbh i havent been following as many cartoons as i should (terrible i know, i used to study animation), so if you guys have recs ... lmk!!! im open minded and ill watch anything as long as i have time.

from the 2010s i also really liked gravity falls, over the garden wall, and adventure time. i never finished steven universe but i enjoyed it.

some of the oldest cartoons i remember watching on tv were like, scooby doo (i still like it & most of the modern incarnations), dexter's laboratory, powerpuff girls, batman the animated series (& batman beyond), arthur, and i swear by them. i still think dexter's lab and arthur are the funniest shows alive, i'm definitely biased towards that sort of snarky humour from the late 90s/early 00s. one day i gotta rewatch teen titans and avatar too.

animated movies are a whole other beast, i'll tackle them another time. i have some thoughts on adult animation but again, i think it's a topic for another day.

(anon i'm assuming if by cartoons we're going by the definition that it's western animation targeted towards teens/kids...)
