it's simple to me, i often think of that quote from undertale, "despite everything, it's still you".

despite all the shit that's happened in history, artists have persisted, and we will persist for a long time...

also to be frank, AI just simply CANNOT draw the ideas i have rotating in my head. it cannot scratch that ITCH when i have a new idea that yearns to be thrown into the world. i think we've all been fooled haha, and it's come a long way, and it can be discouraging when you see it in shops or markets (although i will be that bitch who will say "oh god it's ugly AI art" in front of the booth...) but the truth of the matter is that no one can draw the way YOU draw, there's only one you in this world, and that by itself makes your art unique.
